Me Focused is designed to help you focus without becoming another system to manage. This policy explains the information used by the app and this website.
Information used by the app
Calendar information
If you grant calendar access, Me Focused reads calendar events from the calendars available through Apple Calendar on your device. It uses event timing, availability, and relevant event details to show your day, calculate time before the next meeting, and keep focus sessions within a safe boundary. Calendar access is optional and controlled by the system permission you grant.
Me Focused does not sell calendar information or use it for advertising. Calendar data is not used to build an advertising profile. The app may use event details locally to support meeting preparation, focus planning, and session behavior.
Focus sessions, tasks, and planning
The app stores the tasks, focus sessions, breaks, planning information, and preferences you create so that the app can show your history and restore your work across launches. These records belong to you. Me Focused does not sell them or use them for advertising.
Sync between your devices
Me Focused can sync app data between your Apple devices using Apple iCloud/CloudKit when that sync mode is enabled and available. CloudKit is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple’s privacy practices and terms. Me Focused also supports optional direct sync over your local network between paired devices. Local-network sync uses Bonjour and direct device-to-device connections; it does not require a Me Focused account or a separate server account.
When local-network pairing is enabled, the app stores a random installation identifier and pairing information on the participating devices so they can recognize and authenticate one another. This identifier is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Notifications and device features
If you allow notifications, Me Focused may schedule local notifications to tell you that a focus session or break has ended. The app may also integrate with supported Apple device features, such as widgets, Live Activities, Apple Watch, and the Mac menu bar, to display the current session. These features use the session information already stored or shared through the sync method you select.
Website analytics and third parties
This website does not currently run Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, advertising trackers, session recordings, heatmaps, or cross-site behavioral tracking. We do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or visitor profiles through this website.
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google may receive standard technical request information such as your IP address and browser details. You can prevent that request by using browser privacy controls or blocking external font resources.
The “Get Me Focused” link may take you to Apple’s App Store. Apple’s handling of information on its storefront is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and terms, not this policy.
Application usage statistics
The current version of Me Focused does not send product-usage analytics or advertising events to Me Focused. Diagnostic information may be available through Apple’s standard operating-system, crash-reporting, or App Store services according to the settings and agreements that apply to your Apple devices and Apple account.
Data retention and deletion
App records remain on your devices and, if enabled, in the Apple iCloud storage associated with your Apple account until you delete them, delete the app, disable or remove the relevant synced data, or Apple’s retention rules apply. Me Focused does not maintain a separate user account database from which we can retrieve or delete your app content.
To remove local app data, delete it using the app’s available controls or delete the app from your device. To manage iCloud data, use Apple’s device and iCloud settings. Local-network pairing can be disabled or removed from the app’s sync settings.
Children
Me Focused is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website or the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if Me Focused’s data practices or the applicable requirements change. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page.
